01.  Membership fee
CID Members are reminded to send membership fee for 2009. The fee can be sent by cheque, by bank transfer or preferably via  www.paypal.com
Only recipients of a letter of confirmation can use the title of "Member of the International Dance Council CID-UNESCO"

02.  CID Congress in Istanbul, Turkey
Announcing the 3rd International Congress, organized by the Istanbul Section of CID 08-12/04/2009. Registrations are open, as well as proposals for performances, classes, research reports, exhibitions, video projections.

03.  Folk festivals in Tunisia
Events organizer announces six folk dance festivals in Tunisia, on various dates.

04.  Residency in Germany
Choreographic center in Essen offers accommodation, studio space, open classes, professional advice, equipment, from August to December 2009.

05.  CID Congress in Athens, Greece
The 23rd World Congress, the largest in the world, will take place in Plaka, at the center of Athens, 01-05 July 2009. Send message of intention to participate, or ask for details.

06.  CID Congress in Granada, Spain
Pending confirmation, the first CID Congress in Spain is announced for 15-19 July 2009.

07.  Video-dance project
Multidisciplinary video-dance work-in-progress project in Cyprus, called "Lost in division" starting on 22/12/08 until 02/01/2009 with 3 performances in 3 cities from 03/01/2009 to 05/01/2009 and including a workshop on 27/12/2008-28/12/08.

08.  CID Virtual Library
More than 400 books and 40 magazines on dance are included in the CID Virtual Library. You can find them at:   www.cid-unesco.org   Their authors or editors are Members of the CID - they can be contacted directly for information on their respective subject. Thus, the Library constitutes the most important bibliographic tool for dance researchers world-wide.
